The staff here is fantastic, always helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Great location, on site parking is a real plus. I loved the feel of this place. Very clean. Loved the light breakfast. Loved the stairs. I hate taking elevators if I don't have to do so.

The bed needs a pillow top and softer pillows. The sound machine was a good idea. I would heartily recommend this hotel if the beds had pillow top matress pads and smaller, softer pillows.

Possibly the best and such great stay for a UCLA Visit. A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. The rooms - well-appointed, nicely decorated with A/C and a coffee maker, as for instance. Location near to safe area, good bus links to San Monica, and Very close to UCLA. Also, easy to get to A Ucla-Affiliated Museum...

The hotel is exceptionally comfortable and homely. It has nicely furnished rooms with amenities like a safe, television, and a fridge. The location is magnificent, convenient, and ideal for accessing bus links to Santa Monica and Venice Beaches, as well as UCLA Medical facilities.

The location was really great, backdoor of UCLA, the only downside was the noise coming from the W hotel right on the opposite side. Was a bit annoying as you can hear very loud music. In general, the hotel was really nice with very helpful staff and convenient parking.

The carpet in the room was stained, dirty and disgusting...made the entire room feel dirty. Submitted my complaint and they said it was on a list to be refurbished...then don't rent the room at this time!

The Hilgard House is directly across the street from the W Hotel and less than a block from UCLA campus. It is run by a truly friendly staff who seem happy to be there, and the rates include breakfast, parking, and wireless internet access. Rooms are not luxurious, but spacious and comfortable and very clean. They include spa bathtubs, too. All in all, the best value for the money in the entire area - and the welcoming staff make it a very pleasant place to stay.

Had a really nice stay here for a quick work trip. Loved the variety of healthy food options available. the staff were super friendly and polite throughout our stay. the location worked out great for what we needed. 🌟

We were on a college search trip and it was right next door to UCLA. Our room had a drip from the upstairs air conditioning unit and the hotel staff moved us immediately to another room. The staff was friendly and very professional. Great location to walk everywhere around the Westwood campus.

The hotel has a great location near restaurants. The rooms are clean, accommodating, and have convenient amenities like central heating and a flat-screen TV. It was a good stay for a visit to UCLA.

We had a conference at UCLA, so Hilgard House was the ideal location. It meant that everything was within walking distance; and the public transport system for going further afield and exploring a little more of LA was also easily within walking distance.The breakfast was good too.

Not a lot of frills but fantastic location for anyone visiting UCLA and very pleasant staff. The free self-parking at this hotel is worth at least $20 a day extra plus the Advil you won't take due to parking headaches in Westwood! Free breakfast is donuts, bagels, or cereal plus coffee/tea, so adequate. Will stay here again.
